My cats were particularly snugly this week, with me and each other. Having them always reminds me about the innocence in the world. They just love unconditionally, even when they are getting in trouble.

Quite the contrast to the news, which was full of lots of things this week. Several hearings on Capitol Hill as well as a big protest. I remember waiting to attend back in 2018 but I had just began feeling better after about a month of being down, what I refer to as the plague. Now, I had to stay home because I do not have the physical ability to sustain an event like that nor do I want to be around all of these germs. I did watch it at home and dressed for the occasion.I believe that fundamentally citizens want the same thing, which is to be able to feel safe when going out into the world but we are so far apart on how to get there. I remain hopeful that we will get there soon. There are things that I feel can be compromised by both sides to meet in the middle to ensure there are much fewer tragedies due to hate and fear. Three-year-olds get it....it is time that adults do too.
For tonight . . . I'm just sayin' XOXO

Amen! ❤️❤️
