Three years ago today, Marmalade joined our home. I had not intended on being a three cat home. Let's face it, I didn't intend on being a two cat home. However, I felt bad for the older cats that did not get adopted. I was interested in a cat that had come over from Bay County with Pancake and Flapjack who was older but he had passed before I could claim him. I was looking at the website and found Marm.
I asked about fostering her but they said she was too young for that but I could come meet her.
Who could resit? Stole my heart. I went home and got a carrier. Drove back, adopted her, and then brought her home to meet Pancake and Flapjack.
Now three years later, she still loves to nap. While some days, she probably wishes it was just me nand her, she has adopted all of us and we all love her.
