Finally Made a Decision

Just a quick note to update everyone that I have finally made a decision on where I will have surgery. The choices were Boston or Jacksonville. This was a difficult discussion because I know the surgeons in Boston are the top in the world but Mayo has excellent doctors and surgeons as well. Ultimately, with COVID and recovery, I just didn't feel like I could manage a trip to Boston. I think recovery will be better surrounded by friends in addition to my family. I feel at peace with this decision.

I am so blessed because there was no bad answer to this decision. I have two top medical facilities that are fighting this fight alongside my family and friends. Everyday I feel so lucky with the messages I get from people. It is wonderful to be surrounded by amazing people.

I thought I would post a few pictures of some of the love I have at home too....I know these guys will be happy that I will not be in Boston for a month.
