Chemo #3 Update

Chemo #3 was Thursday. Mom and I were geared up and ready for battle....
I am so thankful to have my mom with me through this. We certainly have been through a lot together but we always are successful in our battles so I am confident this will be the same.

It started off a little bumpy because the nurse couldn't get the IV in but she called in another nurse and we were good to go. I had to take off some of bracelets. Chemo went well. The nurses are all sweet and the treatment doesn't take too long.

Sydney is always ready for the car ride home. He makes me feel like Nana is with us.

When we got home, all the cats were ready to see us and play.

In good news, my car is back and Nissan paid 100% of the repair.

While overall I am doing well well, I have to admit that the fatigue is getting more and more. I want to sleep all the time but never feel rested. I know this means that the chemo poison is doing its job so I will give in to sleeping. The queasiness is a lot but manageable. Things have come along way in 40 years!

In three weeks, I will meet with the doctor to discuss if I will have chemo #4 or go into surgery.

I am also very grateful for family who is with mom and I every step of the way. I am thankful for my friends both personal and professional who have sent lots of well wishes along with sending lots of thoughts to us along this journey. I could never get through this without my squad behind me.

For tonight . . . I'm just sayin' XOXO
