Shout Out to My Mom

So many things to thank my mom for today. First and foremost, she bought my sofa. While her motivation was to have someplace to sit when she comes to visit - I will be enjoying it every day. The sofa came yesterday but the excitement came today.

My Uncle came to visit today. I gave him the tour of Madison and showed him all of our favorite hot spots. We ate at the new Mexican restaurant downtown tonight and it was fabulous - for all of you following me locally go to Ranchero Grande. 

With him, my mom sent "The Sliding Robots" for me to borrow.  Let me tell you, these things are amazing!!!!  You put these discs under the legs of the furniture and slide.  I moved my sofa all by myself - not help.  My Uncle had to help me with the entertainment center, which posed an entirely other issue.  In order to situate all of the furniture, I decided to move everything around (except the desk).  Therefore, I had to unplug the Dish Network.  So when I re-connected it, I thought I had labeled the cords correctly.  One hour later and lots of problem solving, I realized I was wrong.  The important thing is that I didn't lose my cool, get frustrated, and eventually solved the problem.  Yeah!!!!!!!!

Well, I am going to post a few pictures to go with some of my stories, especially for those who never thought you would see me out in the country.
