I really do live in the country

On Friday night, there was a possum running around.  He ran from the front of the house to the back of the house.  Then on Saturday, I had a small baby garden snake by the mailbox.  Then Hazelwood found a lizard in the house, which given his current state was kinda cool. I got the lizard to go outside and saved his life. Then I found a lizard on the back porch, which did not make it.  Then another lizard was hanging out by the TV.  I lost him as he ran under the receiver.  Then I heard a noise coming from my teaching stuff - that crazy lizard got into the bag.  I put him outside but as I was putting him out, I saw four more lizards on the porch.  This was like a bad horror movie - does anyone remember Frogs?

On a sadder note, Wednesday at 4PM, I will be saying good-bye to a very big part of my life.  It is time for Hazelwood to join Nana, Grandpa, and all of the other animals my family has lost.  He is happy a calm and as lovable as ever.  He got to have tuna fish for dinner tonight and he made a big mess!!!!!

I love this little guy . . .

For tonight . . . I'm just sayin' XOXO
