She is a wonderful housewarming gift from a very dear friend, who might I add is a Seminole fan so I know how hard this was to purchase. My own little gator girl yard gnome - how cool is she!
Here is the newest house guest that was not invited to stay . . .
It is hard to see but this was a very large brown spider that was not invited to stay. I captured the spider in a cup and let it go far from the house. I believe in the old tale that says it is bad luck to kill a spider inside the house.
Outside the work office, this beautiful creature came ashore . . .

I love living in Florida!!!! As I said the other day, this truly is a treasure in the woods.I somehow have even found more time in my day. With this extra time, I believe the Wii Fit is going to get my attention. The Wii Fit is actually an amazing machine. As all of my friends know, I do not like the heat. However, the Wii Fit allows you to workout without being outside in the 95+ degree heat! If you do not have one, I highly recommend getting one. If you do have one, I highly recommend that you dust it off and get back on. My machine is so much happier now that it has not been 75 days since I last used it.
The other new thing I am trying is measuring my steps. With the technology of the DS (another great invention), I am using the pedometer to try to increase my movement. If I am going to teach that we need to do this with children, then I should practice what I teach. Also, I am inspired by a friend who seems to find time to workout even though they are very busy - thanks for the inspiration!
Well, back to catching up on DVR and Netflix. Have a great week!
For tonight . . . I'm just sayin' XOXO
