Mom just left after a fun-filled weekend in the country. We had a lot of fun. We drove around and looked at the town, and then we headed west to look at some of the towns out there. We headed north to go shopping and eating in Valdosta. We had lots of fun driving on the back roads and exploring. I saw "neighborhoods," I had not seen before. It is so amazing to me the mix of houses.
Now I am off to grade papers and work on some other projects. My spring break is filled with lots of projects - I am excited to tackle these while also catching up on my video watching. I know Netflix loved me last month - I just returned three movies I had since January 23rd. I will hopefully make up for that this month!
Wow, it is funny to look out your window and see a car driving up your driveway - especially when you never saw it drive down. The country is so quiet and apparently the house is well insulated. For all my friends, do not worry; it was the owners checking on the animals. I will just say, I love watching the animals, especially when they catch my cat's attention (he doesn't know what to think!) through the window!
Now for a moment of complaining . . . why is it that most of what you buy in the store either breaks soon after or doesn't come with all of the pieces. Here is my evidence for that statement. When I moved to the country, I needed wardrobe racks, a floor vacuum, and a new microwave. Sounds simple. Well, the microwave was dented badly on the side so that had to be returned. I bought three wardrobe racks, one of which was missing pieces. Finally, this weekend I bought a floor vacuum and it was missing the floor brush piece. Why have companies lost their quality control initiatives? QA and Customer Service are two business practices that have gone by the way side and need to come back, desperately!
For tonight . . . I'm just sayin'
XOXO
