Well, Hazelwood and I already have seen the wildlife. Last night before bed we watched a raccoon in the backyard looking for something.
I was so tired last night that my head hit the pillow and I was out!
This morning I experienced the problems of last minute packing - I could not find closed-toe shoes to wear to work and it was freezing! Ice was on the window - I had to use my resourcefulness. The nice thing about living this close was that I got to come home and lunch and find the shoes. I mislabeled the boxes but a small scavenger hunt around the house and I was the victor.
Another adventure was trying to find the computer cords - after one hour of searching tonight I won!
Now, I have a new problem to solve - outlets in old houses. My level of technological devices does not match the type of plugs, location of plugs, and in some rooms the number of plugs I need. I will solve this problem over the weekend on first adventure to town; yes, I can actually say "I'm going to town."
We will see what the morning brings.
For tonight . . . I'm just sayin'
XOXO
