Today I headed to town to return my microwave! It reminded me of growing up in Palm Bay where everything was 30 - 45 minutes away. The drive to Valdosta was not bad - no traffic and very straightforward. Once I got there, there was everything I could want. Within a two block area, I had Target, Walmart, Kohl's, Penny's, Sears, Publix, Moes, McDonalds, Sonny's, Atlanta Bread Company, Buffalo Wild Wings, Publix, Chik Fil A, Movie Theater, Taco Bell, and a bunch of other places. While it is more than the 5 minutes I had in Tally, this will work just fine.
When I got home, I started on the boxes. I got through 24 so far tonight. Here is what I have concluded - NO MORE MUGS! How do we collect so many mugs? More importantly, why am I so attached to all of them and can't get rid of them. Each has a story or a memory that brings a smile to my face. That being said, I do not think I can fit another mug into my house. I have no idea how they fit in my last kitchen, which was 1/3 the size of my current kitchen.
Tomorrow the plan is to finish the kitchen - boy that is a big job. I am now off to work on my clothes and get them back into the dressers and the closet.
For tonight . . . I'm just sayin'
XOXO - Go Team USA!
I think we all have concluded that. They need to stop all production on mugs! Use them to start an herb garden!
ReplyDeleteHerb garden is an excellent idea! Missy suggested taking a picture of those with memories for the scrapbook and then getting rid of them by donation or yard sale.
