Good News!

Yesterday, I had my three month check up. The cancer remains stable and my doctor remains very happy. There were a few new very small nodules on the lung but the radiologist and oncologist both are not concerned. They said it could be inflammation related to the cancer. He reiterated that the side effects of the treatment are a good sign it is working, even though they may be frustrating. I celebrated the good news by picking up Crumbl cookies (I do not have one locally; although they kept saying we are getting one 30 minutes away):

The trip was good but mom and I were both exhausted when we got home. It was worth it though because we got to have dinner with my brother and his wife. It was nice to spend time with them.

The day at Mayo was particularly exhausting because we had four appointments in three buildings within four hours and my first appoint put us an hour behind. Fortunately, Mayo is great about adjusting. I was able to move my COVID vaccine earlier so we did not have to go back and forth between buildings.

While at Mayo, we got to see one of the therapy dogs and they have musicians playing again.

They have installed a new water wall, which I told mom made me think about the garage issue:

Speaking of the garage, the pod has been emptied back into the garage. Now I just need to finalize the inventory list. I talked to the insurance adjuster. Turns out they had done one thing wrong on my claim. They also explained how this worked. Now that we are both on the same page, they are giving me the opportunity to review everything again with the new lens. Once I get it turned in, they feel that it can be resolved within a week.

This was the first night the cats were left home alone since my move. They survived but were definitely happy to see us come home.

We did have some excitement earlier this week when a snake decided to hang out in the porch. It let itself out!

Happy Passover and Easter to everyone!

For tonight . . . I'm just sayin' XOXO
