I know it has been a while since I posted. Unfortunately, last week was a very rough week. There are some new fun chemo side effects like headaches, getting sick, dry heaves, night sweats, and a new chest pain. Today is the first day that I have started to feel well. I think the takeaway is that chemo will now take about a week and a half to overcome. Knowing is half the battle.......
Today, Pancake let me know she wanted to nap today so I took out my keyboard so I could work while she slept. I am very fortunate because I can work from my recliner.
Most people ask how I am still working through all of this and it is because I can work from home from my recliner. It helps to not have to walk from a parking lot to an office.
For those who do not know, because my blood counts are low and I have anemia, any walking causes my pulse to spike and a loss of breath. Apparently, my blood is seeking oxygen which causes the issues. Once I sit down, I can catch my breath and get my pulse down. This is challenging because I was so used to going, going, going but this is my new normal and I am adjusting.
For tonight . . . I'm just sayin' XOXO
