Chemo #9 is behind me. The doctor thinks that the combination of chemo and the heart meds is impacting me so he decided to reduce my chemo by 20%. The doctor tells me how proud of me he is for how I am handling everything. I appreciate his encouragement. On December 9, I will have a CT scan to see how the chemo is doing and if the cancer is still stable.
With only one chemo drug, once chemo begins we get done within an hour. It was nice to be heading home by noon.
When I got home, I was exhausted. Seemed more than usual. I was able to work on Friday but have slept and rested all weekend. The cats have all been cuddly. At many points this weekend, there were one or two cats in the recliner with me. At some point, all three have been been in the recliner this weekend.
It is hard to see all three cats in this picture but it shows how they surround me. LOL!
For tonight . . . I'm just sayin' XOXO
