Hazelwood Update

This past week has been a bear with the Wood man . . . and the results of today showed it.  His BUN was elevated to 37, not ideal but not horrible.  A result of not getting his full 100 mL each day!!!!!  He deceased 1 oz, so that takes him to 6 lbs 5 oz.  We picked up some dry KD (kidney disease) food to go with the wet - this might help with the weight.  I will be a better mommy and make him talk the full 100 mL.  It is just so hard!

Not only is he not coming when I call him up to the sofa but today at the Vet he hissed and moaned as he was getting his nails cut.  He has NEVER exhibited these behaviors.  I think the time is coming to probably end this for him . . . it is just so hard because he acts normal on the outside.  How could you say good bye to this . . .
