So this week marks the two year anniversary of the loss of two family members.

| Uncle Jamey - doing what he loved to do! |
Uncle Jamey passed very unexpectedly two years ago yesterday. He always enjoyed life and was often seen smiling. I remember Uncle Jamey taking me to the Jr. Market for Necco wafers when I was a little girl.
| Me and my Goompa |
Exactly, two years from today I had to say goodbye to my grandfather (whom I called Goompa for many years because I could not say "Grand"). He was a very strong man, who took great care of his family. I was honored to teach tonight in his memory. I miss him very much!
Among these memories, I do have to report that Hazelwood's tests came back on Monday with his BUN level at 44 - not the improvement we were hoping for. He also lost a little bit of weight. We are down to one IV treatment a day in hopes of encouraging him to drink. I got him to drink tonight so hopefully the little prince will take it from here. He is so cute in that he now waits for me on the sofa for his IV. He is something else. We go back to the doctor on Monday. Stay tuned for more updates . . .
From the country perspective, I had two small adventures this week. On Monday, I went to the pasture to feed the goats and donkey and what did I see . . .
Yep that is right a fox in the field. Amazing enough the goats and donkey didn't do anything but just watch him. When the fox saw me he took off across the side pasture.
Then yesterday on my way to Valdosta to search for the book The Snowy Day (which might I add that Books-a-Million said they had 9 copies of but not one could be found on the shelf), I saw . . .
a coyote run across the road in front of my car. In my early morning adventures leaving the house at 3:30/4:00 AM, I hear them but I actually got to see one yesterday.
I love country living!
For tonight . . . I'm just sayin' XOXO
