Fond Memory

So I have a shot out to my brother who funded a wonderful memory for me.  Today, on my adventure to Valdosta, I stopped by my favorite ice cream shop - Bruster's!  One of their current flavors is Black Raspberry.  The power of marketing in full force - I got an email from them last night about their current flavors.  So, I got a single scoop in a sugar cone.  The first bite transformed me back to being 5 years old with my Nana at a place in New Hampshire called King Kone.  When black raspberries were in season, they had black raspberry ice cream.  The only thing missing today was the chocolate sprinkles - I was driving and knew that would be a mess!  If you have Bruster's near you, go have some - it is refreshing and delicious!  And to Nana, who I know was looking down today - I love you and miss you very much!
