What a weekend

Well, Rely for Life got canceled due to bad weather.  Friday's weather was so nasty, yucky!

With Rely canceled, I gained an extra 18 hours to my weekend.  I got my shelves lined, all my papers graded, trash was taken out, groceries were bought, mirrors were cleaned, laundry done, killed the ants outside, spent time with the cat as well as the donkey and goats, dishes washed, Mother's Day cards written, curriculum reviewed, emails caught up, and a lot of DVR watched. 

I can't believe how many vultures I have seen in the last week.  It seems that the country is filled with vultures.  Today, I literally saw 12 in the road eating an armadillo.  Then another six eating a possum.  And yet, another 4 eating something that was unrecognizable.  These birds were not getting out of the road any too quick.  It was funny to watch some of them run out of the road instead of fly. 

On a positive note, I saw about six squirrels running around the yard this weekend.  I also a bunny - it was so cute.  I was a little concerned with the animals in the yard because I had been out earlier in the day killing ants. 

Unfortunately, my list also included watching my Netflix movies, unpacking two more boxes, and sorting my books but you can't win them all.
