Catching Up

Well, it has been a while because life has been a bit crazy.  It started last week with cooking dinner for 25 with the girls.  There is nothing like trying out new recipes with a kitchen that is not yours, with limited equipment such as dry measuring cups, and the hottest water in the world.  There were little things like ensuring we used the appropriate measurements when doubling recipes.  All in all the food was excellent, even though the heating element burnt some of the food.  There were lots of comments made during the evening as well as positive comments about the food.

The rest of the week was good - I got lots of things done.  I have to say that having the room in the house and not living with my stuff on top of itself, makes keeping up with it not only easier but a priority.  I am good about staying up with things, which is a good thing since I went out of town for the weekend.

The Easter Bunny will be arriving early for me this week.  While attending a Board meeting in Tampa over the weekend, I had a little incident with the car.  While parking in the garage, my front right bumper kissed the cement wall.

My poor baby but thanks to my awesome mechanic, it will be fixed on Friday.  I believe the damage was worse because someone actually hit my bumper about a year ago in a parking garage.  At the time I did not notice it but Mom did. 

I am sure there are a few other stories I am leaving out but for tonight . . . I'm just sayin'
